Yandex Maps has rolled out a new free service called Geoanalytics aimed at helping businesses analyze city districts and evaluate potential locations. Businesses can use this data to make informed decisions about new locations and advertising opportunities. Large companies can also benefit from the toolā€™s capacity to assess market potential in different city areas.

The information is displayed as a heat map, making it easy to visualize which areas have the most promise for business development.

At launch, Geoanalytics is available for Moscow, St. Petersburg, and 14 other cities with populations of over one million.

This launch follows Yandex Maps’ recent introduction of indoor navigation services.
