Yandex Adds Free E-Commerce Promotion to Main Page With Rhythm Integration

RuStore now offers TikTok, Opera Mini, Skype Lite and other applications from foreign developers

Yandex has added its Rhythm (Ritm) service to the main page of ya.ru, giving e-commerce businesses a free way to showcase their products.

Users visiting the Yandex homepage will now see a personalized feed of photos and videos from brands and online sellers. This content appears under the search bar, alongside product listings from Yandex Market.

The Rhythm service features fashion, home goods, and more product visuals. If users like what they see, they can click through to visit the store’s website directly.

According to Yandex, businesses featured in Rhythm already receive over 150 million monthly impressions, and that number is expected to double by the end of the year. These posts are not considered ads, which means sellers gain exposure without paying for promotion.

Rhythm content allows businesses to share product updates, new arrivals, and promotions. Users can also subscribe to their favorite brands and save items to personal collections within the app or on the site.

Rhythm is still in beta, but Yandex is continuing to develop the platform. The service is open to new sellers; applications can be submitted through the official website. Yandex is also testing new categories beyond e-commerce to expand what Rhythm offers.

This move follows other recent updates from Yandex, including new premium ad formats in its Maps service.

The Rhythm integration presents an easy, cost-free way for online sellers to reach Yandex’s broad user base.
