Yandex has introduced several updates to its new Report Wizard, expanding analytics capabilities ahead of its planned rollout as the main SEO and campaign analysis tool in Direct Pro this summer.
The latest changes add new regional analysis options, keyword management tools, and additional chart formats for data visualization.
Expanded Regional Analytics
The updated interface now supports statistics analysis by country, district, region, and city. Users can review data both by targeting region and by actual location.
Yandex said the older groupings, “Targeting Region” and “Location Region,” will remain available. These options can still be used for smaller regions that are not tied to specific cities.
To simplify reporting, Yandex has also added a ready-made regional template to the Report Library. The template includes predefined metrics and groupings and can be accessed directly from the Library page or through navigation inside the new Report Wizard.
Keyword Management Improvements
The Search Queries report has also received updates focused on keyword handling.
Users can now add phrases directly to keywords from within the report interface. Previously, the report mainly supported expanding negative keyword lists.
The update is designed to reduce the number of steps needed to manage search terms during campaign optimization.
New Visualization Features
Yandex has introduced stacked charts alongside the existing bar and line chart formats.
The new charts allow advertisers to visualize aggregated data by grouping. For example, users can view total spend across all campaigns at different levels of detail.
Normalized charts are also now available. These charts display data as percentages, helping users compare metric distribution more easily.
The company also reorganized detail settings, including day, week, and month views. Multiple detail settings can now be used simultaneously.
Another addition is automatic color formatting, which has been brought over from the old interface. This feature highlights changes in indicator dynamics when users compare performance data.
Yandex also simplified sharing functionality. The Share button now copies report links directly to the clipboard with one click.
Transition To Primary Analytics Tool
Yandex first announced plans for the updated Report Wizard in mid-March.
At the time, the company said the tool would become the primary campaign analysis solution in Direct Pro during the summer of 2026. Yandex also shared broader development plans for the platform as part of that announcement.
The latest update continues that transition by adding more analytics and reporting capabilities aimed at advertisers and SEO professionals.
