Zen authors with monetization enabled will now receive payments for distributing their text content on Odnoklassniki (OK). The earnings will follow Zen’s monetization model, which is based on engaged viewing time.
Expanded Content Distribution
In 2024, Zen began testing content distribution on OK, allowing articles from Zen channels to appear in the social network’s feed. This integration helped authors expand their audience and increase publication reach. Users can click on a channel name to visit the author’s Zen page on OK and view all their content. Articles from Zen are marked with the platform’s logo on OK.
Monetization Starts on February 25
Starting February 25, Zen authors will earn money not only from Zen but also from OK. The payout system remains the same—earnings depend on how much time users spend engaging with the content.
Automatic Participation for Monetized Authors
Zen authors with monetization enabled are automatically included in this distribution if their content meets the rules of both platforms. The system selects content for distribution based on user interactions with similar materials, regardless of when the article was originally published.
Previous Monetization Updates
Earlier, Zen allowed all authors to monetize exclusive content. With Zen Premium, bloggers gained the ability to set different subscription levels, ranging from 99 rubles to 100,000 rubles. This provided creators with more ways to generate income from their work.
With this new integration, Zen authors now have another opportunity to grow their audience and earnings through OK.
