Yandex.Lavka service is testing express delivery of products at night. Nine points of the Lavka in Moscow and the Moscow region have already switched to round-the-clock operation.
Their delivery area is home to 3 million people. By the end of spring, the Shop will be available to night owls all over Moscow, and in the summer the shops in St. Petersburg will also switch to round-the-clock mode.
The most in-demand items at night – coffee, energy drinks, party snacks and ingredients for popular cocktails – are collected in a special section “Insomnia”, which turns on after midnight.
There is no minimum order, even a package of milk will be brought, but delivery from midnight to seven in the morning will be paid. All orders are delivered by taxi at night.
Night delivery zones are twice as large as daytime ones. But orders will arrive almost as quickly – in half an hour.
