Jademond Digital has released a new Chrome extension to make Baidu Webmaster Tools (BWMT) more accessible for Western SEO professionals. The tool focuses on translating the BWMT interface into English and providing easy data export options.
You can download the Chrome extension here.
BWMT is widely used to optimize websites in the Chinese market, but itās only available in Simplified Chinese. This language barrier often makes it difficult for non-Chinese speakers to use the platform effectively.
The new extension, Baidu Webmaster Tools Translator & Data Export, addresses this issue by translating the platformās interface into English. It keeps the original Chinese keywords intact, so users can match them correctly in search reports.
The extension adds translation and functionality that BWMT currently lacks. Users can now export historical search performance dataāspecifically impressions and clicksāfrom charts into Excel files. This makes it easier to analyze trends over time and work with data outside of the platform.
Sometimes, the translation may lag behind the page load. In those cases, users can simply click the black āTranslateā button on the screen’s right side.
The tool also adds an āExportā button next to the charts. This allows SEO specialists to download the historical performance data, complete with date details, which isnāt possible using the native BWMT interface.
By simplifying language and data access, Jademond Digitalās extension gives Western marketers a more straightforward path to optimizing for Baidu without needing fluency in Chinese or relying on manual workarounds.
This launch makes it easier for international SEO teams to engage with one of the worldās most significant search engines on a deeper level.
